I don’t need to tell you that this is a great album because it’s a known fact. It’s certified. We don’t need to debate this so please save yourself the trouble! “Confessions” is now 15 years old (I feel old). It doesn’t feel like that long ago that “Yeah”, “Burn”, “Caught Up” and “My Boo” were dominating the charts in the early 2000s! But aside from the chart domination, this album is a great R&B album that has something for every occasion and content that is relatable. The critically acclaimed album stands alongside the “8701” album as being his best works, in my opinion.
In the present, the hope that we’re getting a sequel to the second album is becoming more evident. @usher recently posted a photo of himself in the studio with Dupri who produced the “Confessions” album. They went on Live on here this week and previewed a new song called “Believe”, which sounds like the Usher we’re used to. He also posted a photo of himself with a whiteboard that reads “Confessions 2” and what appears to be a blurred out tracklist. It’s safe to say that part 2 is in progress and I can’t wait to hear the finished product.
