Chris Brown finally released his new single that features Drake last week. “No Guidance” is an R&B song that is potentially the song of the summer for women and has a lot of one-liners that I’m sure we’ll see all over IG! Chris and Drake compliment each other so well on the song and it showcases their strengths on duets perfectly.
Gold link has dropped a few songs this year and this is the second one that I’ve gravitated towards. “U Say” features Tyler, The Creator and Jay Prince and the artwork features Justine Sky. The song definitely has quite a few genres mixed into the infectious beat and I hope it gets the attention it deserves.
“Painted” is the debut album from @iamluckydaye, which was released last month. There’s a lot to love about the album but one of the song’s that really stands out to me is actually an interlude - “Ready For Love”.
Obviously, he sings about being ready for love. However, there’s still some uncertainty as he “don’t trust nobody”, which makes it hard for him to be vulnerable. It’s a sweet song and I do love when artists include interludes that make you wish you could hear the full song so job well done! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Lucky Daye.
By the way Chris’ new album, “Indigo”, drops on 28th June and Goldlink’s album, “Diaspora”, drops on Wednesday.
