A good skincare routine isn’t just about buying and using the right products for your skin, drinking loads of water and making sure you don’t sleep with your makeup on. 🤨
It’s also includes:
Showering/bathing your FULL BODY on a DAILY basis ( 👀 yes, I’m eyeing you people that do not do this).
Pre-cleansing & then washing your face for a minimum of 60 seconds (shout out to @labeautyologist for this life-changing tip - check her IG & YouTube for great skincare tips).
Changing your bedding at least once a week. Also, changing/washing your pillowcases at least twice a week (this is my minimum). You’re moving mad if you’re putting your face on dirty pillows!
Washing your head scarves, durags & bonnets regularly (I wash mine at least twice a week). * Washing your makeup tools & keeping your skincare & makeup products in good condition. Also dash them away when they’ve exceeded their expiry date!
I could mention dairy and other things (do your Googles) but my focus is on the small things you can start doing today. FYI I’m not an esthetician (let me know any good ones in London in the comments please) or a dermatologist but these are things I’ve been doing for years that work for me.
