Forgive my tardiness, I’ve only recently discovered Snoh Aalegra’s music and I’ve had her new sophomore album “- Ugh, those feels again” on repeat since it’s release last week. Her soothing tone, honest and insightful lyrics are an eargasm, basically! The album details the breakup aftermath of emotions you go through, with some hope for a future love(s) again. After gravitating to Snoh’s music immediately, I had to look at the credits to see who was involved. It was no surprise to discover the legendary (and in my top 50 producers) No ID executive produced the album and is Snoh’s mentor. Anyway, I’ve picked my current faves from the singer’s album but I definitely recommend that you check out the rest of Snoh’s catalogue too.
Saint Jhn’s “Anything Can Happen” featuring Meek Mill is a bop from the multifaceted artist, who’s buzz is finally growing with his own music. Personally, I don’t think Meek’s verse was needed but obviously high profile collaborations benefit Saint Jhn. Young Thug’s “So Much Fun” album is out and “Hot” featuring Gunna is my current fave. It’s not just hype, the album has some bangers outside of this one so definitely check that one out too.
